Delivering 70 W x4 to satellite channels and a robust 500 W x1 to a subwoofer, it achieves a combined 900 watts of dynamic output from a compact, space-saving chassis. JL Audios exclusive NexD Class D switching technology allows the RD900/5 to generate full-range, low-distortion sound with exceptional efficiency, even under high-power loads. Each pair of main channels is fully bridgeable, creating a 3-channel amplifier configuration capable of 200 W x2 @ 4 , giving you ultimate system flexibility. Conveniently located on top beneath a removable protective cover, the RD900/5 offers studio-grade signal processing, including 12 dB/octave high-pass filters for the main channels and a variable low-pass filter for the subwoofer. All filters feature continuously variable cutoff frequencies from 50–500 Hz, while dual-range, differential-balanced inputs handle a wide range of source voltages. Automatic turn-on via signal or DC offset ensures easy integration with factory head units. LED clipping indicators for each channel simplify gain adjustment without the need for specialized tools. Optional RBC-1 remote level control allows easy adjustment of subwoofer levels from the drivers seat. The RD900/5 is finished in a durable black powder-coated chassis with a top-mounted dual-colour LED strip for system status.
