The glass cools and hardens to the exact contours of the wood, creating a permanent, organic bond between the two materials. Gamal wood is a fast-growing, sustainably harvested tropical timber with a warm, varied grain. Small air bubbles and light surface marks in the glass are characteristic of the hand-blown process.
