This could take up to 10 working days* Engineered for demanding, high-power subwoofer applications, the JL Audio RD1500/1 delivers staggering low-frequency output from a sleek, compact monoblock amplifier. Thanks to a special low-impedance output circuit, it produces an incredible 1500 watts of continuous power at either 1 or 2 ohms, making it ideal for driving large or multiple subwoofer configurations. At its core is JL Audios proprietary NexD Class D switching technology, ensuring exceptional efficiency, thermal stability and ultra-low distortion even under heavy load. All controls are positioned on the top panel beneath a protective cover, with power and signal connections located along one side of the chassis for clean, installer-friendly layouts. Signal processing includes a 12 dB/octave low-pass filter with adjustable cutoff from 50–500 Hz, plus a variable bass boost EQ to fine-tune low-frequency impact. Dual-range, differential-balanced inputs allow compatibility with a wide range of head units, while automatic turn-on and preamp outputs simplify system expansion. The RD1500/1 also features an integrated LED clipping indicator, allowing fast and accurate gain setting without special tools. Finished in a durable black powder-coated chassis with a top-mounted dual-colour status LED, the amplifier supports the optional RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately) for convenient bass adjustment from the drivers seat.
